Umpires Needed

 

Attention all people interested in umpiring, we need you!  Kingman Softball Association (K.S.A.) is looking for any individual who may have umpired any level of softball or baseball or any individual who has an interest in becoming an umpire.  This is a paid position so you can earn money while having fund doing so.

 

K.S.A offers a complete training program for all umpires; which includes rules, interpretations and field mechanics.  In addition; every game uses a two umpire mechanic with new umpires being partnered with experienced umpires for further training.   K.S.A. is sanctioned by the Amateur Softball Association; hence all training adheres to their high level of standards.

 

This year’s men’s seeding tournament is scheduled to begin April 10th 2006.  At that time all available umpires will be scheduled to work.  K.S.A. umpires can easily request the nights they wish to work.  League play is scheduled Monday through Friday, with three games per night, per field.  Starting pay is $11.00 per scheduled 60 minute league game.  The pay schedule is based on experience.  There are scheduled tournaments on some weekends and pay will vary with each tournament.
